Kurimoto Japanese Garden
My spring is just this: The designers of Japanese gardens use a variety of plants, stones and wooden forms to convey their aesthetic appreciation of form and color. These designs always have an element of simplicity. Issa's haiku led me to think about beauty of simplicity and little things. I'd be tempted to add an image of a bamboo shoot, But then I thought, he's right, and what about the simplicity of these reeds and the curving line of poles. | Return to Entry Page | About This Site | Copyright & Sale of Images | | Ray's Web | Ray's Other Photography Websites | Ray's Haiku Websites | Email | |
