Garden Bench, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| When I walk through my neighborhood, I'm occasionally taken by a garden. This person's garden contained an old bench which I imagine was a favorite place for the gardener to sit and enjoy a summer evening. I think of the flowers as children sitting at their grandmother's or grandfather's feet while she or he reads them a story. Over the time I've lived in this neighborhood, the bench finaly collapsed. My image may be all that's left of year's of someone's pleasure. |
