Northern Ontario is composed of Shield and Limestone country in which one finds numerous lakes and mixed hardwood forests containing Birch, Maple, Beech, and other trees whose leaves change color in the fall.
I enjoy hiking and canoeing in this country in the fall, and snowshoeing and skiing in Winter.
