The photographs on this web site have a common theme: water and stone. They were taken in the years 2003/2004 in Wells Gray Provincial Park, BC, Banff National Park, Alberta, Glacier National Park, Montana, Muir Woods National Monument, California, and Zion National Park, Utah.

I share these images in the hope that we, the stewards of these irreplacable lands, will take more active steps in protecting them by letting our politicians know about our support for parks and by supporting the conservation organizations that have parks and wildlife as their mandate. We owe a great debt to those individuals and organizations whose forsight and dedication led to the formation of the parks that we presently enjoy.

There are many conservation organizations to which you can donate your time and/or funds to ensure that protection will be ensured for future generations. These include:
