It's a guess that this symbol represents an Atatl. An atatl is a spear which is thrown with the aid of a sling or wooden rest so the thrower can giver more thrust to the spear. The atatl was used for spearing larger animals from a greater distance. It's also a guess that this is a sheep. It might represent an elk, deer, or other horned animal.
