Spring Colors

Sometimes some of the arid regions I travel seem lacking in color. It was spring, I rounded a curve on a back road and came upon all the bushes just beginning to bloom. Several curves that day afforded the same type of view. It was a surprise, like a present, when expecting a bland landscape. I took the picture mainly for drawing and painting purposes. I enjoyed seeing the color – the newness of life.
