This website was developed with several interests in mind:

• to introduce Albertans & tourists to the richness and variety of the landscapes of their homeplace
• to display the work of Alberta Photographers
• to encourage the conservation of these landscapes for the benefit of future generations

Dedication: I hope that this webpage will serve to honour the citizens from Huxley, Alberta who convinced the Alberta Government to protect this area.

It is also meant to honor all those conservationists who work with great honesty and dilligence to encourage the government to provide protection of other scenic areas of Alberta, notably the work of the Alberta Wilderness Association, the Alberta Chapters of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society and the Federation of Alberta Naturalists is deeply appreciated. Please consider making a donation to at least one of these fine organizatons. All of them run on shoestring budgets and by volunteers.
