This webpage contains photographs and information about Canyonlands National Park, Utah.
I created this webpage
because I have enjoyed hiking in Canyonlands for many years and I feel that I
owe some sort of debt to those dedicated citizens who worked under adverse conditions
to establish the park.
With the exception
of one or two images, the photography is mine and the conditions for its use by
others are set out on the copyright page.
Each year, I visit
Canyonlands in mid-April. I am willing to guide hikers and photographers, both
experienced and novice. If interested, send me some information about you, your
camera, and your hiking ability. I do mostly day hikes, some short, some long.
I believe that those
of us who enjoy these natural and historical resources should contribute to conservation
organizations that are leaders in the movement to protect them. Please consider
