I put these images up so that visitors can vicariously enjoy these great parks.

They are protected because of the forsight of people in an earlier era who recognized their value, both to us, the present visitors and to the wildlife that are dependent on the habitat they provide.

Wilderness is fast disappearing and future generations will not enjoy the same privileges unless citizens like yourself support the groups that actively campaign for the establishment of new protected areas. If you want to contribute to one of these organizations, visit this conservation group web page for the names of organizations whose volunteer members do the hard work on our behalf. The need your support.

I lead photography and guide day-hiking trips in canyonlands in late April/early May and in September/October. If interested, drop me an email and we can discuss it.
