Sandstone Cliffs

It's a 40 minute drive south from Moab on Utah 191 to the turnoff at Utah 211 which heads directly West into the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. If you haven't been there, this map will help place the park in perspective. The road into the park suddenly takes a sharp drop down into the Indian Creek Canyon system, a deep canyon with sidewalls several hundred feet high.
