Ruin

This ruin is aptly named the 'Defensive Wall'. The small openings in the face are too small for the Anasazi to have crawled through, but could have served to allow a defender to view approaching enemies. It is thought that the exodus in 1200 A.D. was caused by a prolongued drought, followed by what starvation brings—farmers turned nomad raiders.
